Host a 1.4 Billion Reasons DVD screening

1.4 Billion Reasons is a thought-provoking journey that explores how we can see an end to extreme poverty within a generation.

Based on leading research, 1.4 Billion Reasons clearly articulates the challenges of extreme poverty and demonstrates that by making simple changes everyone can be a part of the solution. It explains how everyday actions – what you learn, say, buy, give and do – can create big opportunities for the world’s poorest.

We have specially produced a 60-minute DVD version of 1.4 Billion Reasons, allowing your community to experience the presentation anywhere in the world.

You can book a DVD screening through our distribution partners Good Screenings. The cost of the DVD is calculated to suit the size and type of the event you’re planning on hosting.

Delivered by presenters Hugh Evans, Gori Olusina Daniel and Deborra-lee Furness, 1.4 Billion Reasons on DVD features stories from around the world and interviews with experts, including Jeff Sachs and Paul Collier.

Along with the DVD, you receive an educational handbook that allows you to run audience interaction and feedback at your screening, and provides reference and action resources to enable your community to join the fight against extreme poverty.

We have also put together some useful resources, including FAQs, an event guide and posters, to support you in running an amazing event in your community. You can download all that information here.
